Tailoring

Recently started leveling a warlock. I know most prof's give +80 int or 81 for JC, but I read tailoring cloak enchant averages 85. It is a proc though and I am not sure how I feel about that. Do you need to recast dots when you have proc up or is it the kind of thing you can just kind of ignore (I understand you want to use CD's with procs when you can but im mostly talking about normal DPS phase when everything is on CD or you are saving it for a burn phase.)

Sorry if this is a silly question I just reactivated my account a few weeks ago and don't know much about warlocks right now.

I generally time my first Bane of Doom with Meta + Lightweave, Power Torrent, DMC. From there on out every other Bane get's recasted in Meta for the bonus damage. Beyond that I don't explicitly recast DoTs when procs come up and just refresh them naturally.
