Now that the Faire is on the PTR? Are there any existing mats that we should be stocking up on in prep for 4.3?
No, all the mats you need are either vendor or found in/near the Faire (or soulbound arch frags )
It doesn't look like it. From looking over the quest and achievement lists on the front page, it seems like the new DMF is completely self-contained.
The only thing that I didn't have on me or couldn't buy at the faire for all the professions quest was "Simple flour" needed to make the crunchy frog legs. Other than that, everything is bought or found on the island.
