    Which will bottleneck me faster?

    CPU or GPU?

Also how much AA can i use in WoW without having my GPU lag the game? 4X or 8X

    specs in my sig..
    edit: ignore the laptop

Your gfx card will bottleneck you the fastest, tho there's not much to do 'cept for putting in a massive one.
However, it all depends on the games you play. a 6870 is a UBER card for its performance, and it can handle WoW terribly easily.
I'd say go for 8X unless you cannot hit the 60 FPS mark with it.

Your CPU is more than enough to handle wow.
I would recommend upgrading your RAM to at least 1333 MHz 8g. Only costs like ~$50.

I would also start looking into a new video card. AMD cards are cheaper but I've always ran with Nvidia and haven't been let down. I would suggest a 560.

And if you're tight on cash something along the lines of a 460.

I wouldnt say that its more than enough. It was good back in wotlk. But even a i5 750 was better.
Id say a 955 is Good for WoW. But it wont give me awesome 25 man raid performance on ultra.

Yeah im using 2x 2GB 1333mhz atm. Could easily upgrade to 8. its pretty cheap.

And... uhh your suggesting i downgrade to a GTX 560 or GTX 460... just cause theyre nvidia? I dont get your point. Theyre both worse.
GTX 560 TI is equivalent to a HD 6870. Maybe it does 2-5 fps better in some games.

His RAM is 1333mhz and 4gb is still enough for that build. Also the 6870 is a far superior card than the standard GTX560/460. I would go with 8 x AA it should handle it no problem and i think they are a pretty good match for each other so it will always depend on what you play when it comes to a bottle neck.

I suggest not upgrading anything right now.
Your GPU is a DX11 card, and a very good one for it's price.
You will however, stutter at 25man raids at ultra quality and 150+ addons.

Just like you I have a 6870, and loving it. (60 FPS in Battlefield 3 on high/ultra)

Witcher 2 only runs on High.. while the max is Ultra :/ And this is bareley at 30-40 fps. So im guessing its a GPU issue. I dont mind though the game looks awesome on high..
    1680x1050 by the way.

Nice OC there. Also playing at 40-60 fps On All High + 2x AA. 1680x1050.
Single player is a constant 60 fps of course though.

Comparing the Wither 2 against WoW is kind of bad, mkay.
It has several options that current cards (maybe the newest) aren't able to handle very well.
You can always throw in a 2nd 6870 (crossfire), and you don't have to worry about games for the next 3 years or so.

Im not comparing witcher 2 to wow. Im just saying that something is causing me to lag in Witcher 2. And i wasnt sure if its the GPU or CPU. Im guessing GPU.
So when the time comes ill probably upgrade my GPU before my CPU.

Your CPU should be fine for another year or two.
However, there will be a ton of games coming out that will require more then 1 GB of RAM from their Gfx card.
Just like battlefield, my card is mostly on a 80-100% load from it, barely making it.

    My suggestion to you is..:
Prepare your case for the upcoming new Ivy Bridge processors.
By the time they are released (1/3th of next year) the new AMD series should also be available.
    Pick one from those also!
