COD4 Problems on the PC

Now that I think about it, I posted this in the wrong forum. Hopefully a mod can move this for me..

So I pre-ordered MW3 last week for PC and it came with a free copy of COD4. So today I figured I would go on and see if anyone still plays, Found a bunch of servers and joined a random one. Well after about 2 minutes on playing my game freezes but I can still hear all of the sound. 5-10 seconds later my screen goes black for about 3 seconds then the game comes back and unfreezes. And it does this every 30-45 seconds. Tried to search this problem but I couldn't find anything so I figured I would come here and hope you guys could help me out.

Also forgot to add, all of my drivers are updated and so is my Punk Buster for the game.

I run everything maxed out, but here are my specs anyway.

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 630
Power Supply: Rosewill 600W
RAM: 8GBs G.Skill Sniper DDR3
GFX: Radeon 6850

Thanks for the link! I just changed it so I runs XP (Service Pack 3). I forgot I could do that...
