help with speakers - do not work anymore.

My speaker set up was working just fine, before I unplugged it.

    I run windows 7, i7950.

I have a subwoofer, and 5 speakers - one of the old logitec systems, and I have a steelseries headset/mic.

I change the default option, when i want to move from speakers and to mic/headset.

The speakers were set to :asus xoner DG audio device.
The headset was : speakers realtec HD audio.

Now both options just play sound from my headset.... I have unplayed the speakers...replugged them.....nothing works.

    maybe you shut them down
    right click the sound icon
    go to your devices
right click the speakers and make sure theyre not disabled
you can also test them there etc

    still doesnt work?
in the same screen disable the headset
and configure the speakers as standard playing device
    and standard comm device

not disabled, I unplugged the headset, not it sort ot works...but sound only comes from one speaker...my subs dont work ...

Don't like this UI, too complicated.

ALso, i'm using 3 speakers instead of the 6.

My logitech sub+2 stopped working months ago. I'm full time headset now, helps with the wife/kid.

Doesn't help, I normally use my v2 headsets when I'm listening to random music, or talking on vent/skype (bgs, social).

If I'm watching movies, working or playing games other than WoW (single player games), I use the speakers.

just take a deep breath and calmly look into that ui
it has all you need to fix or find out whats wrong

you said 1 speaker works now, wich means the problem
on the computers side might be fixed

check if the speakers and sub are all connected properly
test this with another playing device like your phone / ipod / mp3
Works fine? problem still on the comp, go back to that UI and try
Doesnt work? fix your speaker setup

    hope this helps

    haha relax
first of all ye you had to enable your headphones again
thn just switch standard device to change between speakers/headset

if you still have a problem
try to explain what you're trying to do and whats not working properly

Doesn't work man, it works now..when I unplug headphones - speakers work (vica versa).

Before they were set to different devices, when i changed...they'd work.
Speaker were speakers- asus dg etc
    headphones were. -speakers realtec...

Now asus dg doesn't work.....all plays for speakers realtec (guessing thats internal).....

Asus doesn't play thought either the speakers or the headphones....

My sound card got pwnd somehow? Or decided to desable tiself?

maybe reboot you comp before we go on any further
just to get the windows-related problems out of there if there are any
