    Ragnaros 25HC magma geyser

We did 400+ pulls on boss and has 100+ wipes on phase 4.
~80% of this wipes was after geyser spawn in 1st or 2nd breadth of frost.
How can we determine who is wiping us spawning geysers? Any addon?

Look at the ground. If you see fire spouting high up into the air, you've wiped as a result of it.

i think what he/she means is, are there any addons that can tell if someone failed and caused a geyser to erupt. i personally do not know of such an addon.

    Yes, Winzlow.
We knows why geyser spawned by boss. Raid positioned in 3 camps. Meteors kited and so on. All is ok, but .... oops! geyser - wipe - #######...

Practice positioning out of combat and make sure everyone knows what they're doing. Should be easy to see who's having troubles and hopefully they'll improve or you'll at least find your weakspots.

Fraps. (No, there is no event in game you can use, but you can tell who runs in when you review later).

Most geyser's are caused by panicing such as when a meteor gets close to the group. The slightest flinch could set it off. Make sure everyone slowly inches in (watching debuff) and then making sure not to move after. IF they have to move, back out the group you came in, never strafe out as this can also cause geyser. As long as these two things are followed you will have much fewer geyser mistakes.

    1. Assing people specificly to different spots (e.g. three groups forming a triangle)
    2. Check logs: who took damage from the geysir; who was with the group that wasn't assinged to that specific spot
    3. Name & shame!

Well I have been doing it on 10 man, so I don't know how much more difficult it might be to handle phase 4 on 25 man. But one thing you should remember is it takes 1 second or so for the game to register that you have moved into the breath, so instead of just running into it, get close to your groups spot, scoot in a little , see if you get the breath debuff, if you didn't scoot up a little more, and keep doing that until you are right in it. People may take a little more damage, but at least there is no damage geysers spawning. The biggest thing you want in phase 4 is practice, once everyone is familiar with the mechanics and kill should come soon.

    Agree with this method.

Thanks! This method wil work fine when geyser spawns in one camp. But when geyser spawned between two camps or in the center of frost patch? All people staying in this camps will be damaged by geyser.

We used this method. Everytime RL put down a feast, we got into our tri-force position to eat. Using /range 6, you should see all the dots stacked on each other. Anyone who "wiped" the raid during eating paid a bounty. We also practiced moving for meteors from this position, practicing inching back in. You know you are on the border when the cog wheel for the feast goes from gray to gold.

We had lots of fail in our attempts, but was much more about people not moving soon enough to keep meteors from getting close to group. We didn't have any real issues with geysers. Killed him on pull 388.

GL getting problem solved. Very satisfying when he finally dies.
