Just login to your SW:TOR account at the game's homepage and go to swtor.com/tester to check your testing status.

Check swtordotcom/tester. If you have an invite it will show there.

    Log in to swtor.com/tester

If you see a download now button, then you have gotten into beta.

IF not then this is a fake email.

Oh yeah I forgot. There were tons of invites sent out yesterday and still are getting send today so the chances are high that this is valid. Either way you have to wait for the page to get up again.

Had this in my email yesterday when I checked it. It was legit for me at least. Awesome birthday present from Bioware!

I just finished building my new PC a few days ago as well. I couldn't be happier right now considering one of the reasons I bought it was to play this game at max specs. Won't be leaving my house this weekend
The generalist looks outward; he looks for living principles, knowing full well that such principles change, that they develop. It is to the characteristics of change itself that the mentat-generalist must look. There can be no permanent catalogue of such change, no handbook or manual. You must look at it with as few preconceptions as possible, asking yourself, "Now what is this thing doing?" -Children of Dune
