Eugh, microwaves almost always make food lose it's taste, and honestly, i think it's the reason they wrap baked potato's in foil; to show what our brain will become if we keep neglecting properly cooked food in favour of.... the microwave. *shockhorror*

assuming your using a good microwave and you are using it correctly, you should be able to cook very well in a microwave.

there is nothing about a microwave that 'steal taste'. i mean ffs, its just exposes the food to very high frequency energy waves. if anything, your just used to the taste that the other forms of cooking add to the food.

Toasters = fire hazard, so typically companies will not have them because they will more than likely incur higher insurance premiums.
