84 words per minute. Used three fingers. Touchtyped all the way through. Also a native english speaker, so that sorta sucked.

I type better when I'm not reading off something, but making up stuff in my head, or having it dictated to me.

I see no reason why being a native speaker would affect your ability to type at a faster wpm.... All this exercise tests is your memorization of key placement and the ability to COPY words as fast as you can off a screen. I could do this in any language if it used the same characters as the English language. Grant that I do see knowing certain words gives you a slight edge in the ability to think less about where to go, however these were all extremely simple words, all of them should be know by most who know any english.

I got 74 wpm, but I'm currently on a netbook and it's a pretty small keyboard for my big hands compared to my gaming keyboard at home.

I'm stuck in the 60-65 range. I guess it's okay. I don't look at my keyboard when I type but my fingers aren't correctly positioned. :P
