General Beta Invite or Weekend only Invite?

How can you tell whether or not you were chosen for Weekend only beta testing or for the general beta testing?

From the email I received and on the official site there is no information that says "weekend only" under my account.

Or is it just assumed that all beta invites are weekend only?

If I remember correctly it should tell you the period when you accept or decline.

The email I got says right near the top:

START: October 13th @ 5:00 PM CDT
END: October 18th @ 7:59:00 AM CDT

If it doesn't have something like that, then it is not restricted.

Go to swtor.com/tester. It will tell you right there which facet of the SWTOR beta testing you are in.
