Post NEW MMO-Champion CPU Overclocking Leaderboards

HAPPY SIX YEAR ANNIVERSARY CPU OVERCLOCKING LEADERBOARD THREAD!!!

Welcome to the new MMO-Champion CPU Overclocking Leaderboards! Soon to hopefully be endorsed by one and all here, I plan to keep this thread updated and stick around!

If you're also interested in GPU overclocking, here's a link to the appropriate thread! http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...g-Leaderboards

Do you like to overclock? Have you just done some to get a little more oomph out of your computer? Interested in seeing how you compare to other owners of the same CPU in our community? Look no further!

Even if your processor series is not listed, feel free to post, I fully intend on expanding these lists to be all encompassing for all processors as they make their own appearances.

We'll have some new rules around here and regulations, with actual stability test requirements rather than none, as short under 10 minute Prime95 tests are not going to cut it.

The rules for stability are as follows:

A screenshot of an 8+ hour (I suggest doing this when you're at work/sleeping) AIDA64 or OCCT test. Here is a link to their downloads section: http://www.aida64.com/downloads
Or if you would like to navigate to their website directly: www.aida64.com

    For OCCT: http://www.ocbase.com/index.php/download
    Direct to their website: http://www.ocbase.com

INTELBURNTEST, Folding@Home, and Prime95 HAVE BEEN REMOVED. ALL WHO USED THEM IN THE PAST HAVE BEEN GRANDFATHERED IN, HOWEVER NO MORE ENTRIES WITH THESE WILL BE ACCEPTED.

I do not personally care whether you use imgur (recommended image hosting site by the admins of mmo-champion), imageshack, or whatever, just make sure the picture is able to be read and the text isn't little pixelated messes.

In your screenshot, you must have the following:

    CPU-ID open and clearly visible/legible.
Real Temp or other known temperature sensing program.
AIDA64 clearly shown with above requirements met.
As of February 13, 2012, a new requirement has been put in place: you must also have your MMO-CHAMPION.COM USERNAME listed in a text box in the SS as well!!!

Please follow the following format otherwise your post will be ignored.

    Code:
    Name:
    Processor:
    Clock:
    Voltage:
    Cooler:

Have a suggestion for another form of stress test not mentioned here or how we can open this up to more potential overclockers in such a way? Please post below!

CPU frequencies entail ties, lower voltage gets higher placing on the charts.

It is mainly based on how much free RAM you have, so for me it typically take about 14-14.5GB of memory and then your CPU cycles through it all. I'm not 100% sure what it does, but from my using several levels of the test which progressively use more RAM, I can only assume the more RAM the longer it takes. The other day I did some testing with it using 14.5GB and each test took about 8~ minutes to complete.

Had this running for ~2months. I think I might push it further when I get more time, and a 2nd fan on my cooler.

    edit: opps missed
    CPU-ID open and clearly visible/legible.
    I'll fix it tomorrow.

I look forward to an updated ss, that's a killer voltage though, very nice! My 4.4GHz OC requires a 1.32vcore and 4.5GHz requires me to go up about another.05v.

Take the screenshot when the "Success! Your system was able to remain stable blah blah etc" box pops up, in the case of IBT.
Isn't that little controversial and defeating the whole purpose of having new proper and consistent rules. On what are you basing your assumption that 8 hours of prime95 equals to 10 runs of IBT, especially with varying amount of different architectures? They are both different softwares, you can't make a rule like that saying use either, whichever you want >.>. Same with the choice of temps program to a lesser extent.

I'm personally signing off from this. Not going to reshoot my Wolfdale overclock (da dum dum). Suppose it's a turn in to right direction but not enough to make it worth-while a new thread while the old one was good for what it was.

You really ought to read the entire thread first before attacking me, buddy.

Have a suggestion for another form of stress test not mentioned here or how we can open this up to more potential overclockers in such a way? Please post below!
Oh and I could always just tell folks to do both. Would you rather that?

Not attacking you, just your thread :> And the last line blended in your signature, to be honest!

And now that I noticed, I think you should have asked the suggestions before starting a leaderboard. Are you going to what, change the rules in midway if you find something that could be improved?

PS. If you ask me, I'd rather just have prime95 used since it's more likely to find instabilities, generally, and also works with wider amount of processors. I can't personally even run IBT with my E8400, just can't complete a single run.

So you would run Prime95 instead....

I've already spoken with a couple other overclockers, including a moderator, and I think this should be fine for most people. It is certainly better than 0 rules and more or less allowing you to post any OC you want without any real proof of its stability, because that was the problem with the previous overclocking leaderboards thread. Like I said though, this is currently very open to discussion as I just made this and we can easily add/change things right now.

Yeah I was thinking about adding that, just trying to figure out how we can pin it to the specific computer being mentioned. Like, we know we can see someone's progress here: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...hp?s=&u=569444

Just need to have verification its from a certain computer.

mmm... I'd say that's a much better test than some unrealistic testing. (F@H is likely to be the most intensive program a user is likely to run.)

Prime95 and IBT are more stressful I do believe and cause more heat as well.

It's not that crazy and such on websites like overclockers.com/overclock.net for instance.

Edited first post to add Cyanotical to the rankings and added the rules about Folding@Home.
