I'll second this, even if disabled, it doesn't always correct the issue. Mine doesn't and I'm pretty sure I know how to disable spread spectrum ^_^

Just wanted to ask, am I allowed to use OCCT to test stability? I prefer it over prime and IBT as it tends to put more load on my processor than the others while giving me visual graphs to keep as a reference. It also has a Linpack mode that is basically identical to IBT. Currently have a 1.39v Phenom II x4 965 at 4.1ghz stable after 12 hours on OCCT. I ran prime on it previously for about 6 hours until I found OCCT, and I've used it ever since.

I'll add it to the allowed list.

Sweet! I'll run it tonight while I'm in bed and take screenshots of the results in the morning.

Rules are rules miss. :P I do not doubt yours is stable, but if I bend them for you then I'll have to bend them for everyone.

Oh god you're not going to Canada are you?
    (I kid, I kid )

Anyways... my 4.7GHz overclock seems to be everything BUT Prime 95 stable. Gaming, video conversions, and F@H = no problems whatsoever... but 2-3 hours of Prime 95 = 0x124 BSOD even up to 1.4V (not comfortable going higher, I know you *can* but I don't want to just so I can get it to work in one stress test when it works perfectly fine in everything else)

Yeah I get it, it was a joke that sounded much funnier in my head before I hit "reply" (note to self: posting when you're half-asleep after work is a bad idea )

Agreed. That's what I am doing myself.

Also, maybe I should try to push 4800mhz before doing a P95 run... hmmm...

Temperatures aren't very comforting at 4600 though. I might need a better cooler.

Yeah seriously, get yourself a Silver Arrow, or Havik 140 even, or the D14. Or just go all out with a water loop. :P

Or be in a cooler room. I suppose eventually I'll run another stress test and get myself back on this.

Problem is, the Define R3 isn't exactly big enough for a water cooling system, IMO. I mean it could be but it would be wayyyy too cluttered for my liking.

Maybe when I get an 800D...

Or be in a cooler room.
I am in the coldest room in this apartment. Problem is it is now the hottest room due to the computers in there. D:
