AIDA or another good one is OCCT.

ooooo! You tweaked the bus speed! How very awesome! :O How tough was that? What else did you have to tweak to get that to work, or was it just that?

    Added!

Does having fast RAM really give a boost to performance (WoW FPS boost)?

For very certain CPUs, it gives a tangible difference overall.

From what I've heard, for instance, it helps with Intel Skylake (i5/i7 6*00K series) and a lot of AMD's CPUs seem to basically require you to spend more money on expensive fast RAM... meanwhile most of Intel's don't, sans Skylake.

Any potential to OCing further a i7-5960X that I got to 4.2ghz with a Noctua NH-D15 air cooler? I am new to the OCing seen, haven't bothered in the past of custom desktop builds I made until now. It runs 38ish C temp, mid 50s under full load.

Mid 50s under full load? O.o What's your voltage?

Short answer: yes. My i7-5820K can push 4.3GHz, and the 5960X is the ultimate of that series, you should be pushing above 4.5GHz... at least.

Also, Lockedout will be added shortly!

    That's three!

I just find it funny at this point. :P

GTX 1970 is really really good. I'm under a super duper NDA to not tell you all about it, or upload scores/benchmarks, but all I can say is the future is AMAZING!

I can run 25 man WoW raids at 75fps CONSTANTLY at a whole 1080p!!! How does it do this with such an oldddd CPU? This new GPU architecture takes off ALL of the CPU burdens! Literally, you could basically run WoW with just this GPU, the HDD/SSD, and yeah. The CPU is mostly there for background tasks and other programs. It's like the GPU reprogrammed WoW!

Volts are high mostly cause I forgot to lower it back down after trying to get it stable at 5oc. I think I can get it stable at 4.9 but I don't think I can do 5.0 with this chip. Maybe playing with the bus i can.

Yeah. I run a stress test in the background when I validate, otherwise I always seem to catch the CPU on a downclock. Actual idle is about 26C.

Yeah, I strongly encourage people do this to get that proper validation.

Grats on the upgrade! How you liking it so far? You came from Sandy's Bridge, right?

Hey man, sorry I forgot to add you! You posted this shortly after I got fired from my job back in July and I was in a rut, and forgot all about this having had an update, so I'll be adding you today, along with @Cilraaz!

Hopefully you played a little more with that OC!

Yep. My 2500k overclock is still in the list. It's night and day so far. I haven't had a chance to get into a raid to see how performance is, but in a greater invasion, I'm up probably 75-100% frame rate, while streaming.
