One thing I always wanted to do in Minecraft as it literally allows you to do just about everything, is basically take a huge modern themed City that was made in creative mode, and adapt it for Survival Mode. Fill the city with Loot, monsters, hidden areas and allow you to explore all the buildings buildings. So on and so forth. Basically, create a standard Zombie Apocalypse.
I personally don't spend much time interacting with the Minecraft community, because I just play the game, so I don't know if this has even been made. But what do people know/think?
I have played it a few days ago with high expectations but maybe it was because I played it alone or not but I didn't find it too fun. I went across the road to a building and got owned by 10 zombies because they kept spawning in the room so I ran for the upstairs but there was A LOT there already.
I personally am working on a Dead Rising style map were you play in a huge shopping mall and you need to go from shop to shop scavenging for materials to craft weapons and armor to fight the horde of monsters and tools to beat the challenges, obstacles and puzzles such as finding materials to make an pick to get through some fallen debris.
