Trying to get to the end boss in brd..help?

Im trying to finish brd for the achievement but Im lost. As far as a remember you would to in the instance, go left then right, open the door and use the cogwheel thing to open the big double door. Now, for me, there isnt anything to click to open the big door. Ive ran round killing most of the bosses and am just completely confused on what Im not doing. Ive googled and searched but Im guessing its outdated.

I thought the switch closed the big door.

It opens the end of the hallway which leads you to the bar. Go up the ramps from the cog and head left, away from the arena. That's where you should be going.

from the entrance, if you turn right, there's a mole machine that will take you past the grim guzzler. from there, go through the door right there, kill ambassador, then continue from there

Take the Mole Machine at entrance to GG then go through first doorway on right. Use the map from there.

Go in and into the cogwheel room. Take the ramp to the level above you and go left down the hallway. That should take you through to a room with a couple large fire elementals. Take a right into the gnome and golem workshop. Go right again in there and take the bridge into bar. Buy beer from the vendor and give it to the guy near him you can interact with until he breaks the barrels and the golem attacks and breaks the door. Follow that door and through to your left. You'll be in a room with one of those MC snake thing bosses and then left into a room with golems. Follow that path through to the ghost chamber with the chest. Kill the ghosts and go through the door. You'll be in a T hallway with another big door in front of you and elementals and MC to your right. Go through those doors. Kill the two torch guys, I forget their name, and light the braziers to open the next door. Beat the Magma giant boss then go through the door into the final boss room.

That is of course assuming you have the key or no longer need it. Alternatively you could, enter the instance, go right in the circle on the opposite side of the room and enter the arena. Beat the arena then take the door that goes up. Take a right when you are in the room above the cogwheel and follow the hall liek before. Jump out the window to your right onto a ledge and follow that ledge to the massive bridge in front of you. Take that bridge to the right near Incendius. Jump into the lava to your left and follow the edge of the room around until you reach a point where you swim across to those elementals standing outside the bridge to MC. Then go though the big double doors, kill the torch guys, light the braziers, kill the giant, and there is the last boss.

That thing is still there when it isn't Brewfest? That is a pretty decent shortcut then.

When you enter the instance, there's a passage with a gate on the left. Go through there, then through the gate on your right. There's an iron door up there on your left - go in there. Kill everything, click on the big cog at the back of the room (not sure if that's necessary anymore). Now go up the ramp and turn left.

Follow that corridor - it'll go right, left, left. Then there's the gate you've unlocked, and a passage. Left, left, then right. You're now in a room with several packs of mobs with fire elementals. Angerforge is down the ramp on your left, Argelmach is to the right (past all the gnomes).

If you go right, you'll be in the gnome room; Argelmach is in a small room on the other side. In the far right corner is a path guarded by a couple of elementals. Kill them, go up the path into the tavern.

In the tavern, follow to the right and up the ramp. There's an iron door you need to open - one way is to pick a fight, then kill the guards when they arrive.

Go through the iron door and down the ramp, follow the path left and down, then right to Ambassador Flamelash. Kill him, go left. Follow the path through the room as it curves to the right, then into the next room. You're now in the Chamber of Seven. Find the dwarf you can talk to and start the event, then kill each of the 7 in turn. Go through the door next to the guy you killed last, and go straight ahead into the Lyceum.

In the Lyceum, find and kill two torch-bearers (they're in red armour). Light the two braziers at the far end, then go through the door between them. Kill the giant while avoiding the flames, then go through the only exit. You're now in the Emperor's Throne room. Kill everyone including the emperor.

The scary thing is I've done that place so many times, that was all from memory!
