Skyrim Glitches

Tbh, my game (PC) has run very smoothly. Only one bug, and it only happened twice - my game just shut completely during a loading screen, but both times the loading screen in question would normally have been followed by an autosave, and it did so. Ie, i left Markarth, cue loading screen for Skyrim, and the game just quit. When i restarted the game, i was just outside Markarth, with the autosave in my file. So nothing really even remotely annoying or gamebreaking. So far, the game has run very, very smoothly for me. My only annoyance is the interface and how badly it works with a mouse (i just use WASD, E, R, and Y now, much easier).

I did buy a physical copy from amazon though (which was 5 quid cheaper) which might have something to do with it. Also, the download took 10 minutes. It took 10 minutes for me to install this huge game - i was rather impressed. That plus lack of bugs has made me happy (although the ai can be shitty).

It's a shame everyone else seems to be facing bugs though. I don't think many people got a physical PC copy though?

I only had one really annoying glitch, *spoiler*which is when i finished the thieves guild questline brynjolf wouldnt talk to me,gallus' journal is stuck in my inventory, i couldnt get my guildmaster armour, and karliah no longer appears to be ingame but the quest completed atleast*spoiler* other than that just trivial stuff, such as enemys dying for no apparent reasonand the like. Also i dont know if anyone has mentioned this yet but try to raise a dragon from the dead, its.... interesting. There is also a horse in a deserted camp up north near the sea( cant remember exactly where) but u can take it and ride it and its not stolen, it will fast travel with you and everything, but once you dismount it starts walking to that camp, it's kind of annoying, but it is a free horse.

nothing really game breaking just side quest breaking really.
Quest waking nightmare the guy kept teleporting to the end of the dungeon (didn't realize the fix was go in before he does) and couldn't get the thieves guild city quests to trigger even after like 20 extra job quests.

Wait, your meant to get guildmaster armour and something extra from being guildmaster of the Thieves Guild?

I never got that, and Brynjolf won't talk to me either. I always assumed it was because he had nothing extra to say, not a bug...

The biggest for me was the ps3's FPS drop with a large save file plus an extended play time, after about 9mb I was having to restart the game every 2-3 hours to bring the FPS to manageable levels again, at 7mb it would only happen after 5/6 hours but it seems dependent on how far I travel in that single session too. The only other ones were very minor, NPC pathing and stuff, I haven't had anything fly and things like that. Another annoyance was one of the NPCs in a daedric quest bugging, making the platinum a little more annoying.

Beat the main story line, the battle between imperials/stormcloaks, quest lines for college of winterhold, dark brotherhood, and thieves guild...maybe 1-2 glitches...very small ones at that

Love this game to death, but the menus have a lot of trouble on PC. They really should patch it better.
Have seen a rabbit leg fly across the room, but other than that not anything annoyingly buggy.
Oh, and the ability to basically run up mountains with horses is pretty funny ^^'

Not had that many glitches... Think just my horse beeing either damn buggy or overpowered Climb mountain, jump, and it likes soars... over all the rocks and cliffs with ease.. Creepy Also had one where a Blood Dragon corpse got into Whiterun, and it kept getting stuck in the gate to Whiterun, tumbling around there, and guard making smart comment how dragons could swoop down any minute. >.>

Some annoying things with convos/ui tho, like you hover over one dialogue option, and it keeps chosing another,even if you "move" it.. And sometimes it wont close the conversation when tab, so need to start a dialogue then quickly tab. >.>

And running/walking keep turning itself on for me.. But I'm probably just doing it wrong. D: Like before "forced convo" with npcs, by char will be running, and after it will be walking and need to click shift to run, and wont solve itself unless restart game. Meh >.>

27 hours in, playing on the PC with a xbox controller, never had the problems people talk about here, and my computer barely even runs the game on low. Still I don't have the long loading screens people talk about..

I've only seen a few "rubber band" kills ? :P Where I killed someone and randomly they go flying off, but that's pretty much it.

When you alt tab and you just get the black screen, just Flag Tab and let go on skyrim, it should go back to the game. Works for me e'ery time

Most of the crashes and visual problems are due to being played on higher settings so in your case your poor computer is actually helping out.

I've had a game breaking glitch with a quest where the guy I needed to complete it was already dead and was unable to get credit, but I was able to use the console to res him, tg for PC.

Yeah, I actually restarted because I did that on my first character and it made the game a joke on master. Free spells with impact made it so dragons couldn't even hit me if they tried.

about 25 hours, had 2 crashes. Some problems with it freezing when I try to turn the sound up and a few visual death bugs. Thats about it

Everyone once in a while, the game just shuts down. Poof, disappears, no crash, it just simply closes.

The first Alduin fight, he got stuck in the sky in his standing animation. I had to restart to an old save.

Yesterday, i got stuck in a wall up to my waist and couldn't move while fighting a dragon. He then put me in his mouth and threw me, killing me at full health.

I'm playing on PC and have to admit I don't have a legit copy yet since I wasn't really interested at first and only tried it on a whim. Now I'm hooked though and if they'd fix some major quest bugs in 1.2 I'll definitely buy it.
Anyway, here are some glitches/bugs I've encountered, first some game breaking stuff (with spoilers):
I couldn't continue the game at Alduin's Wall because Esbern and Delphine wouldn't go inside the Blade's temple thingy. The backstory: I've only really continued with the main story after lvl50 (killed the first quest dragon, never went to the greybeards and just explored the world and did most of the other major quests (DB, Thieves, College, Companions, etc.)) and already cleared Sky Haven Temple by then (with the puzzles). This caused Esbern to just stand at the first pillar puzzle which was done already with no\ apparent way of getting him inside the temple (tried some console commands or shouting him in the right direction in hope he'd start walking). I had to load a earlier save (5 hours wasted) which then worked with some fast traveling and slowly waiting for stuff to happen.
Another "big" one, I can't buy the house in Windhelm since the Butcher quest won't start. I once did the Stormcloaks quest until the steward offered the house but wouldn't sell it to me because of the stuff that happened there, so I went back, before I decided between Imperials/Stormcloaks.
Other than that, just minor like graphical glitches, screwed up textures, the game just closing without an error, that kind of stuff. Although only small stuff that doesn't really matter or break the game in any way, the huge amount of stuff takes a bit from the immersion...
