Except that the only ones we've seen so far are available for karma. So, it's likely that the higher level stones will be available for karma too, just at higher prices.

They'll probably do super awesome looking gear, maybe a trait or so at VERY high prices (traits are still found by exploring, right), or even possibly a free level or so at EXTREMELY VERY high prices.

almost everything in GW1 was tradable, if that happens in GW2 as well, morph stones could indeed be sold by NPCs for karma. but nothing would prevent players to trade them as regular material sort of like ambers or jadeite which was bought with factions points.

Even if that did happen that'd be ok. There are still plenty of gold sinks available in guild wars now. Yes mostly everything can be traded player to player but that's what makes GW different and better. There'll still be plenty of ways to lose your money :]

I never really understood the point of having to repair armor, it just doesn't seem like an effective gold sink unless you're something like a tank getting battered all the time, so I'm glad they aren't doing that.
