Personality: Eloxra is kind and thoughtful. She has a strong nurturing instinct and a love for all things natural. She is deeply saddened by Azeroth’s descent into a war-torn planet of horrors and prefers to stay deep in the Emerald Dream so as to not be exposed to the chaos outside. She is very empathetic and personable. Eloxra enjoys the company of the young of almost any specie because of their youthful innocence.

She is a loyal friend and faithful protector of the green dragonflight and the Emerald Dream. She enjoys collaborating with the druids and would love to return Azeroth to the state it was in before the mortal races began to erode the face of it. She is not bitter, it isn’t in her nature to be bitter, but she feels sadly about it. Eloxra tries to avoid combat wherever possible – she is not a coward, but she knows she likely will not win.

Appearance: Eloxra is a trim, slender dragon with rich green scales ranging from a deep forest green along her spine to a soft mint green in the membranes of her wings and along the center of her belly. Every shade of green in between can be found somewhere on her. Her claws, horns, and teeth are pearly white and her eyes are bright lime green.

She does not have a fighter’s build. Eloxra is the epitome of femininity in dragon form; everything from the way her head is shaped to her slender limbs and refined body give her away as female to even the most uneducated of people. She isn’t built for physical combat, that much is clear, and has very little in the way of horns and spikes – just a couple of obligatory horns at the back of her skull, nothing more. There isn’t even anything at the tip of her tail.

Strengths: Empathy, wisdom, the ability to shift into and out of the Emerald Dream

Weaknesses: Not built for combat, too light-hearted for her own good, just generally not that powerful

History: Eloxra is the child of two regular green dragons of no important lineage. She was hatched in the Eye of Ysera and raised in the safety of it. From early on in her life, she was encouraged to study the Dream around her, and she did. Eloxra was a clever young dragon that picked up on things easily and showed promise as one of the Emerald Dream’s protectors.

When she was old enough, her mother took her traveling not only through the Dream, but outside it, to the waking world, where mortals were establishing their boundaries and finding lives for themselves. Until that point, Eloxra had only heard stories of this waking world. Boundless curiosity sprung up within her the first time she crossed over into Azeroth. She saw a world that mimicked the shape of the land in the Dream, but lacked the natural, undisturbed qualities of it.

She studied here, too, seeing firsthand the settlements of different races. She was taken from one corner of the world to the other and back again, studying the flora and fauna of different areas of the world. It was in the waking world that she perfected her mortal form and managed to convincingly pass as one of the community.

Her mother returned to the Emerald Dream but Eloxra stayed behind. The longer she stayed, the more she witnessed. The human kingdoms were growing in strength and forming tentative alliances with each other and the elves to the north, and the trolls they shared their continent with became hostile and made moves to forcibly evict these settlers.

She often returned to Kalimdor to observe the night elves and their druids; she made a few trips to Moonglade but never stayed long, and soon returned to the Emerald Dream, well into adulthood.

Now soundly an adult, Eloxra lived without the helpful hand of her mother steering her in the right direction. She explored the layers of the Emerald Dream and preserved the sanctity of it as best she could. She traversed from the Dream to the waking world several times. Each time she returned to the world of the mortals, she found a place in kaldorei society and observed their druidic teachings. Though she did not need these lessons, she observed for the sake of seeing how they did it. She was pleased with what she observed.

It was not uncommon for her to come across druids hibernating in the Dream. She eagerly came to their aid when needed and was happy to lend her own knowledge when asked.

When the Nightmare made itself apparent, Eloxra rushed to try to undo the damage it caused but was only barely able to escape with her sanity intact. She witnessed more than a few of her kin fall to the Nightmare and was only barely able to evade its influence herself. She did all she could with the help of the rest of her flight and the druids in the Dream to stave off the Nightmare, to try to contain the infection, but defensive tactics were no use.

As the Nightmare became more aggressive, so did those in the dream. Defensive tactics soon turned to offensive tactics and Eloxra soon found herself a part of multiple assaults on the Nightmare. She did not enjoy her time as a combatant and was fairly ineffective – like everyone else – but she survived the war and when the Nightmare was defeated and only a tiny portion of the corruption remained, Eloxra almost immediately left the Emerald Dream.

The Shattering happened. She was in the waking world when the world was nearly torn apart by the Black Aspect’s return. In her mortal guise, she helped where she could in the recovery of towns and villages adversely effected by the Shattering. Not long after, she was summoned to assist the druids in Moonglade and Hyjal. This she did.

When the Firelord was again banished and the threat to Nordrassil extinguished, Eloxra stayed behind – she did not want any more conflict. Though Deathwing was still on the loose, the green dragon was quite firm in her opinion that there were other, more qualified people and creatures that could deal with him.

Shapeshifting: Eloxra takes the form of a willowy night elf druid with pale lavender skin and forest green hair and markings. She is often referred to as Eloxie in this form, and uses it frequently.
