    Demon Hunter Crit Synergy Build

    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...Rbk!XVh!aaaaaZ

Crits become Discipline (Night Stalker passive) which becomes crits (Caltrops), with a zero-cooldown ability that costs Discipline and restores Hatred, which is used by three of the four remaining abilities, all of which have special effects on crits.

    Too much synergy?

It looks like a great offensive build, but you will have problems avoiding hits because you have almost no defense or control. I am looking more to a crit burst build meant to take out or cripple a strong target at the beginning of a fight and have the rest control than just full out offense.

Mark one for death, Tag as many people with bolas as possible, then fire an impale (At marked) and begin strafing just as they all go off to get the most out of your 1 second of super high crit chance. The numbers popping up would be so awesome . Then begin throwing entangling shots to keep them all snared. And shadow power for health regen and extra damage.

Would that even matter with the Templar follower (Since followers were confirmed at BlizzCon to be endgame viable) or someone tankier holding the enemies up (Such as an army of Witch Doctor pets)?

Apparently at higher difficulties aoe becomes quite an issue, and mortar enemies will probably target you. Can't know till we play it though.

    What about something like this?

    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...Qbk!XVh!aabYaZ

I plan to make a Barbarian build that revolves around staying at maximum Fury and only using generators to maximise Wrath of the Berserker time. Because Hungering Arrow is AoE when it crits, that might free up the slot taken by Strafe/Impale for something more defensive if HA does enough damage on its own--and with crits being turned into Discipline, a Sentry with either the shield or the heal might fit the bill nicely like below (Not to mention with Preparation changed from restoring Hatred to providing a heal).

Could that do the trick, do you think, or would I still need a Hatred spending ability (Ideally one that slows enemies down for added control) for the additional damage it provides?

The scoundrel build http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/follower#!0011 will also help out a bit with more crit synergy and has the CC capabilities that the Demon Hunter build is lacking within itself.

To be honest, I'd prefer the Scoundrel's Anatomy ability for the extra passive chance rather than risk a wasted proc.
