yeah... it could be anything from not wanting to pick up bad media (is there really such thing) to honestly they simply don't have enough time to write in the scripts for same sex relations before release. At least they are planing on implementing it in the future!

I plan on romancing the hell out of Aric Jorgan on my fem trooper! <3 Timothy Omundson! Almost makes me want to make the trooper my main instead of the Consular lol.. they don't get any appealing male companions suppose I just have to wait and learn their stories and choose that way!

As far as I know-it's impossible to miss companions. They are not like a location you skip and you miss it. They are apart of your actual story. Think of it like level 1, you cannot get to level 2 untill you complete your story. Their is no way virtually you can skip over a companion. They are brought into your story during different times for different reasons. They are apart of your storyline. It's a bit hard to explain if you played any dragon age or mass effect. It's same as that. They naturally come into your storyline once you reached a certain progression level/hit a certain "plot" point in your storyline.

Best thing about companions. Each one has it's own personal depth and story line. They are not all mindless zombies. They are influenced directly by you and your actions. For example. If you play a Sith Warrior and a fall Jedi tag's along. You might have to make a choice to kill someone or not. The fallen Jedi likely will plead with you not to. Whatever you decine-the full voice over NPC will reflect that and their will be emotion. Understand not all choices are black and grey.

Some of best thing's about companions. Not only can you bring up to max 1 at a time when you explore a land. They are very helpful. For example. I play a ranged DPS-one of my companions is a melee tank. I cannot take much damage up close. My companion ensures he takes the threat so I am able to cast my spells. Not only that-they will also search the world your on for whatever you want. They even craft even AFTER you log on and keep doing it until you tell them to stop. Their is virtually nothing "not" to like about a companion they have advantages in battles-and on your ship interactive alone-and crafting items all the boring stuff you don't want to do.

The first one you get was during your class quest on the starting planet. When I was playing I didn't get far enough to get another companion but I assume they will be the same way, during your class quest. I doubt Bioware would put so much weight on the companions and then make them easy to miss.

As this isn't a 'real' RPG, there's never really a point in the game where a place becomes inaccessible, so you can't really miss them. Just have to go where they are to get them, they're usually found through quests and whatnot.

I decided to go republic after firmly thinking I'd be imperial simply because I want my very own Lord Scourge. And I'm going to try to romance him, dammit! (I've looked to see if he was "romance-able" or not, but haven't found any concrete info yet. Also, I've never actually liked Bioware's romanceable characters - Carth? Icky. Atton? Yuck. Canderous? Sure, but he's not romanceable. So Doc? Nah...)

What i need are pictures of all the differenz modfication looks for evers companion. you can buy them on the space station but sadly there are no previews and they are pretty expensive for low level. there are about a dozen for every companion.
is it possible to see them somewhere?
