Why exactly would they implement a patch, 1 week after the start of S11?

OT: 29th, because that's when the S10 ends and the Darkmoon Faire happens shortly after, which is getting a big change in 4.3.

Which is why I stated that it's also because of the Darkmoon Faire. They wouldn't drop 4.3 in the middle of a Darkmoon Faire week, because the Darkmoon Faire change is one of the big things in 4.3. They'll want people to experience the new Darkmoon Faire for a full week.

Or they'll wait until afterwards, so that the new Darkmoon Faire gets released the first time in a few weeks.

The reason? To give the patch a little more longevity. If people can get bored of the new Faire a few days after release, then that won't help Blizz compete with the upcoming ToR release.

If, however, the content availability is staggered a little more, it'll keep people's interests longer.

Soon I hope. Cata was just so dissapointing so far.
A few good moments, but the conten only lasted for a few months rly.
Give us BC x-packs. Where there is attunements and stuff to grind for.
At least then we have something to do.
