editing polls

please give us the ability to edit our polls after we have posted.

As of now, you have to PM a super-mod or admin to do it. Reg mods don't even have the ability.

yeah well i think its kind of dumb they dont. was this something the higher ups intentionally implemented or is it something that they dont have any control over?

If you feel the need to edit a poll then you did not put sufficient thought into it in the first place.
If you cannot represent fair options in a poll from the start then you should not start one.
It also if edited with changed or additional options will be removing the option of those who already voted to perhaps choose a more appropriate answer.
Therefore it can only be accurate once.

Like ComputerNerd pointed out, there's too much potential for abuse if we allow editing of polls in general.
