Camera Help, need help picking one.

What do you think its a good camera for around £250-£300? Thinking of either Canon PowerShot SX30IS or Fujifilm FinePix HS20 for my mum for Christmas, not a professional photographer but you know, something that takes damn good pictures and is fairly easy to use yet has decent amounts of features (can always learn etc..)

Ah yeah Nikon those sound good. Id go without bumping but wanted to seek some further help and opinions, although I know bumping is not appreciated, better then starting a new thread :X

Mum said she only wants Canon or maybe Nikon, changing lenses is a prio :X
