Tier 13 Sets - Paladin
Tier 13 Items are purchased with tokens dropped in the Dragon Soul Raid. Each difficulty (Normal, Heroic, Looking for Raid) has its own set and the ilvl are as follows:
- Looking for Raid difficulty will reward players with tokens to buy ilvl 384 pieces of armor.
- Normal difficulty will reward players with tokens to buy ilvl 397 pieces of armor.
- Heroic difficulty will reward players with tokens to buy ilvl 410 pieces of armor.

Still, stats pleases me.
The heroic version got SHITLOADS of raw STR. and loads of sockets.
Overall i like the look too

You should already be CTC capped as Prot in current gear, the lack of master (Except on the head and chest, which are the best of their slot yet) here is good, just as low Def rating on T10 was good. Because you don't want it anymore.

Seeing as crit and haste are almost interchangeable on most good sims, why would crit have been any better?

Actually, mastery isn't going to be that bad in 4.3. Due to the holy radiance giving mastery on heals crit falls behind on mastery. I believe in the holy paladin BiS list only 4-5 items are going to be reforged. We get it pretty good this patch no doubt. Originally Posted by Darkxdina

No, when Defense stat was still in game, going any higher than crit cap on Bosses, and forsaking Stam/Other Avoidance Stats was a Avoidance loss, as pure avoidance beat out the minor avoidance Def gave. Originally Posted by Nillo

But take a good look at that hit and expertise on prot gloves + shoulders. Why increase tank threat to 500% and then keep threat stats to tanking items. If there would have been off-pieces, then I'd understand but since we are forced to use the set (afaik) I sadly don't see the logic in this. They made hit obsolete and expertise less valuable, but still put them on tanking items. I love how the useless piece is the Helmet but the offset Helmet is pretty shitty itemization too.
At least this time around they made double wrists/boots/belts with Haste/Crit ad Master/Crit so we aren't stuck with the wrong stat.Last edited by Requital; 2011-11-28 at 11:48 AM.

Not enough mastery on protection & retribution.
Too much mastery on Holy.
Too much haste on retri, not enough on holy.
Would it be SO HARD to make the best tier set in the expansion be usable? Just look at the protection shoulders, they have PARRY and EXPERTISE. Who uses that, really?

nothing wrong with parry. also, 2/5 of the holy pieces are haste, 2 are mastery, 1 is crit. still usable. for ret, 3/5 of the pieces have mastery. still plenty of mastery. and for the tanking set well.. 2/5 are mastery, 1 is dodge/parry, and then the other 2 are hit/expertise with an avoidance stat. it's honestly not terrible, it could be far worse Originally Posted by angelblack
