    Are Shado-Pan trinkets still good in PVP after the second nerf?

    "Vicious Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault now grants a reduced bonus of 4400 to Agility, down from 8800 Agility, and the effect duration now lasts 40 seconds, up from 20 seconds when the effect is activated in PvP combat."

    For melee are the str and agi trinkets still better then the pvp trinkets? Now that the duration is 40 seconds but 4400 of a stat, how does it compare to the pvp trinkets? Obviously the burst has been nerfed, but 40 seconds is a long time.

    They are DOUBLE the pvp on use trinkets and last for 40 seconds.

    Really strong still. For individual classes who rely on pressure + sustained damage they're absolutely amazing (Feral, DK, etc) but it's a nerf to comps like Thugcleave and Beastcleave who were both proccing trinket on the opener and killing people through their defensive CDs.

    This nerf, coupled with the ilevel cap coming in 5.3 will mean PvP trinkets will be roughly as good. We'll have to wait and see though. I don't think Devs wanted to push out a change to nerf the trinket when it's ilevel was getting lowered in a few weeks, i'm actually surprised they bothered touching it at all (in previous expansions they've just left stuff like this).

    They just made the trinket retardedly stronger for Unholy DKs, who already were doing quite some spread damage. Heck, was watching Biotox stream double healer DK with that trinket and he was literally doing more damage than the opponent's two DPS.

    Even after the ilvl cut, I doubt it changes -much-.

    It also kind of annoys me that they're saying that they don't want PvE gear out of PvP, while they made certain changes to prevent certain PvE items to become stronger (i.e increasing PvP power on PvP weapons).

    Still really strong for some classes. Pretty massive nerf for marked for death subt rogues though.
    The PvP trinket give roughly 5% more pvp power and an on use that is half as strong and last half as long. However after the next patch when its brought down to same ilevel as Tyrannical gear it will be clearly inferior in every aspect.

    Not sure an extra 20 seconds of 2000 agility tops the loss of constant 5% pvp power and 400 resi.

    Still strong for RBGs where you can chose to take this instead of a PVP trinket and I'm guessing it's pretty good for humans.

    I cant find any good reason why they would want to allow retarded trinkets like this in arenas.
    Anyone who can give me a good argument why they should be allowed in rated pvp?

    Only explanation I can think of is they want to get pvpers to try out the new raid content, but maybe I'm just paranoid I'm wondering if this is a temp hotfix until 5.3 comes out. Hopefully not.

    I have been exploded several times in arenas due to this trinket. Its pathetic and the people who designed it and allowed it for arenas should be fired

    Lets face it they are shit.
    Why there is no FC pvp trinkiets ?? Mastery for warrior FC ??? When mastery does fuck all to magic damage and tbh 90% times when i die its..... Chaos bolt ( BTW last night we got up to 9 stacks on FCs and i got 500k chaos bolt oneshot where buffed i am at 522hp :/)

    Give us better pvp options. I want Stamina Resi trinkiet. Or 1000 resi trinkiet with hp on use. I cant wait to try get tanking trinkiet from last boos on flr... Bis FC triniet atm :/

    mmo champion mentions 30 seconds. I tried it in a bg and it was 30 seconds.
    /edit apparently the agi and str trinkets have different durations. i was reffering to the strength one.

    Has anyone found the new internal cooldown?

    4400 down from 8800 primary stat is a lot better.. why the fuck they would increase duration is a mystery. dumbest thing ever.

    bright side; only really an issue for human toons in 5.3.
