Arena season transition

Noob question, sorry if it has already been asked, but I couldn't find any previous threads about it.

Next season will, unless I haven't paid attention, begin within the next couple of weeks, most likely next week. (correct me if I'm wrong!).

- Will the Ruthless pieces be updated, as it happened with Vicious, going from ilvl 365-371?
- Will the weapons be updated or is it safe to buy now before next season begins?
