you want to buy one preassembled or are you willing to build one yourself?

    look for:
z68 series mobo (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte Asrock)
    i5 2500k
560 ti (Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, EVGA)
    TX650w PSU (by Corsair)
    HAF 912 for a case
some name brand for you optical
    8gbs of ram @ 1333 or 1600 MHz (G.Skills, Kingstong)
500gbs or so for HD (Stick with Caviar Black imo and sadly, HDD are horridly overpriced atm)

    look for:
    z68 series mobo (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte Asrock) = $150 (+/- $25 to $50)
    i5 2500k = $210
560 ti (Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, EVGA) = $250
    TX650w PSU (by Corsair) = $100
    HAF 912 for a case = $60
some name brand for you optical = $25
    8gbs of ram @ 1333 or 1600 MHz (G.Skills, Kingstong) = $50
500gbs or so for HD (Stick with Caviar Black imo and sadly, HDD are horridly overpriced atm) = $180
    Aftermarket cpu fan/heatsink = $25 (optional)

    Total 1050 (+/- $25 to $50).
Spiced up Monsters post just a tad bit to give you in some price figures. The HDD is what hurts imo. If you have an old one use that until it dies or prices drop.

I dont want any kings dong in my pc. Now Corsair Gskill Kingston basically any ddr3-1333-1600MHz ram is g2g. z68 or p67 for mobo. 560 ti or Radeon 6950 (2gb sapphire 6950 has a switch to unlock the 6970 shaders)
