Here is a fun fact: According to World of Logs administration, Deathwing doesn't actually die. The system does not send a kill event to the clients.

Now I wonder if that's completely insignificant to the Lore, or Heroic is going to send one.

Ragnaros normal did not actually die according to the Lore [of the encounter]. It had to be killed in heroic. [It was only submerging unless it was killed in heroic.]

To be fair, I think disintegration counts as death. It happens during the mini cutscene thing so I wouldn't have thought it would register it.

Less fun is the utter incompetence of the WoL administrators, who every damn tier fail to test that their log segmentation and classification works on PTR, and don't even bother to put up a menu for the new raid when PTR goes up.

I was just replying with particular reference with its interaction into worldoflogs as it was bugged and not showing any kills for a while. Normal kills would look red on mousing over the log instead of green

It's when deathwing wins the fight, he was a playdoll of the old gods and they didn't need him anymore so they killed them. and it seems deathwing dies both normal and heroic fight like the lich king in icc.

He impales himself after he has killed all living things on azeroth if he completes his task with the cataclysm. He has succeded in the HC dungeons, but you go back in time to fix it npnp

In our 10man group he "died" at 1800k hp ._.

He "dies" at around 1% HP, give or take .5%. Now what's funny is that our logs show our kill run at 9min 50sec, and that's not even close to the time it really takes to kill DW on 10 man.
