Solo Tanking Madness as Feral

On our first kill we got 1 impale on each platform, we were able to kill the tentacle before 2nd impale so ofc its possible to solo tank it. The problem is in p1 when the big adds spawns, they will hit really hard even with all remaining CDs and dream.

One of the reasons you want to 1-tank is to only get one impale per platform. Sometimes we even got that while using two tanks, so do more DPS. Also, try to get pulverize and a stack of lacerate up on the claw before the tentacle spawns, then spam lacerate on the claw after the initial mangle. Since lacerate has 5% higher crit chance you get a higher chance for a SD shield, and that shield will help absorb the impale. It's really rng but it will help a lot.

Easily solo tankable if you have the DPS. Easily 2 healable as well if you have the DPS to do it. This fight really comes down to how good your DPS is, the more damage they do the less there is for tanks and healers to worry about.

Also if you have even a single paladin in your group they can Hand of Sac you for every single platform. I did this while healing and our tank never died, but we only got 1 impale per platform and had so much DPS that the adds in phase 2 evaporated in seconds.

We do this with 1 tank 2 heals and 7 dps it allows us to down the tentacle before the second impale even goes off therefore eliminating the issue

If you can't do the DPS to only get 1 impale per platform, you should just go with 2 tanks. It's so much easier.

Our 10man group always goes with one tank and two healers if possible, and Madness isn't an exception. Easiest with a Pally tank but Feral can pull it off as well.
