Demonology - DPS advice please.

So I posted in the 'Fix DPS' forum and my question didn't get answered. I thought i'd post it next instead. So i'm my guild's full time Demonology warlock. I used to do well, but on some encounters, especially Death Wing, I do poor DPS. If you will, can you please look through my armory, and logs that i've posted below and tell me what i'm missing please? I've tried everything that I could think of. I am missing SOMETHING though. I just can't put a finger to it.

Anything you notice or any recommendations that you can give me wold be greatly appreciated. Whether it be gear or rotation. Thank you greatly.

i've got nearly same stats when im in Meta 25 ~26 K some Fights rise a little more like 28k but when i'm out of meta my dps sustained about 20k or 21k

this happen drive me crazy

Hey there. Just looking at the Zon'ozz fight here, you cannot let immolate, corruption, and BoD drop as much as you do.

Immolate uptime was 89.4% and needed to be recast 7 times after the initial.
BoD uptime was 83.2%.
Corruption uptimes was 72.2%.

Keep those as close to 100% as possible for optimal DPS. In addition to this, I like to personally pop meta when he goes into his "Screen shaky phase". To get there quicker I'll demon jump. If my meta is down I'll Life Tap if I need to, or make sure all of my DoTs are up. If both of these things are accomplished I'll fel flame. Always keep your port in Ranged to port back.

Do all of these things and you'll see your deeps soar on Warlord. Let me take a look at your Deathwing encounter..

PS: Make sure you're flasked. Also, are you summoning your Felhound? He does quite a bit more single target DPS than the Felguard.

Like stated above your Dot uptime seems to slack a bit. You did fairly well on Ultraxion so I'm willing to bet its a movement efficiency problem at the root of your problems.

Also are you timing your doomguard with procs? I noticed mine hit on average 10k harder per cast than yours did from my 10m logs tonight(http://worldoflogs.com/reports/sigt1...e/?s=105&e=376).



Also, I noticed on Warlord you didn't use your MWC every time. You used it twice in a 5:42 fight. You used Demon Soul 3 times and Meta 4.

Oh wow. Corruption uptime was that low? Same with BoD? Yikes.. and Immolation didn't have 100% uptime? T_T Okay well that's a big problem. Should I be clipping my dots or timing them exactly for when they fall off? See, i've been timing it for when they fall off and then reapplying. As far as immolation being cast that many times.. I guess that means I wasn't using HoG on CD like I was thinking that I was. Hum.. Thanks for the evaluation so far. It's been critical to finding my flaw.

Hum. That's weird. I bound Demon Soul to MWC. I don't know why that would happened. Also, what do you mean by procs? I use it with Meta and Demon Soul. What else should I be waiting on? This seems like it would be a nice DPS increase.

You should use 3/31/7 instead of 0/31/10, glyph of incinerate instead of corruption, use incinerate as filler check http://manaflask.com/en/guide/407 for a more in depth analysis

You should have the BOE bracers made and buy the wand as well.

Your hit is fine, and your haste is spot on for the 1573 hate point.

As for your rotation you just have to work on keeping corruption up more. You also had 5 molten more procs which is 15 incins, but you only casted 13.

Your dps for your gear isn't that bad.

This is incorrect that spec is only viable if you have to cast immolate once if you have to multi dot then the standard demo spec is better

I think I got a molten core during a molten core, but i'm not exactly sure. However - first thing that I did when I logged on was buy that wand!! Next up: Bracers! Thanks =D I do need to work on corruption. I set up Power Auras to track Corruption as a Dot Timer today. Also thank you. People just expect magic numbers with me and i'm going 'I'm trying!!!" Haha.

Edit: To all who looked at logs. These are without the 2/4 T13, the Lightning Rod staff, and the Boots that I have atm.

Doomguard snapshots int buffs when cast. Add power auras or some other way to track your buffs and pop it with MWC, Power Torrent, DMC:Volcano, and a potion for a nice increase.

you should reforge, enchant (and gem yellow gems in int+mastery) for mastery. not haste although you need 1573 haste for an extra tick
