As for the conspiracy theory about Blood Legion specifically, it's a bunch of BS. I was watching Blood Legion's Dexter stream Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night last week, and they heard about the exploit for the first time late Thursday evening, their time, and I can confirm with certainty most of their main raiders had not gone into LFR before that point, AND Dexter went out of his way to take potshots at the guilds who did exploit in the stream titles (i.e. "PlayFair.tv", "LOLOLOLOL at exploiters", etc).

And for the "Invite to Blizzcon" thing, I believe several other guilds were passed over due the to possibility of visa issues with inviting TWO guilds to the US, more than likely on relatively short notice. Also, Blood Legion's team is mostly on the west coast, IIRC.

Socialism, gamers best friend. They can take up to 25 days off per year, of government paid vacation.

If they make a movie of this, that guy who played Newman would be perfect for Ghostcrawler.

Well, while I don't believe in the conspiracy theory there is another less Blizz is evil idea. That all those guilds reported the bug. That they saw it was still on on the latest PTRs and due to meeting new contacts at Blizzcon BL and vodka used a different channel to report the bug (mail to a dev, to a designer). Instead of no feedback they may have been mailed that yeah, we are aware of it, don't tell people, don't use it on live cause we won't let you keep the gear (or will punish you). So with that in mind they lost any incentive to use it and organized how I'm sure everyone else initially planned to go. All other guilds got no feedback, went with everyone will do it so either we all get banned or all get the same gear and got hammered.

I still think that out of all guilds it's more likely that simply due to statistics some just decided not to exploit, bad luck for Paragon/Method/etc that it was two good guilds.

    Really.. wow..just wow

So what your saying is blizzard made those guilds cheat, Then after making them cheat . Banned them.

And as far as blizzard tell some guilds about the exploit in an attempt to keep them from cheating..Come on.

Here is a fact not a theory..Some people have integrity in everything they do..(even playing a game.) some guilds did not cheat simply because it was not an option.

You either have integrity or you do not...Now we know who does and who does not...

No matter what from now on any first from the guilds who cheated will be called into question as to whether they cheated to get it or not.

that does not discharge blizzard either... if that bug was actually reported, its very presence in a public release tells us everything there is to know about blizzard's QA.

10 years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope and Johnny Cash. Now we have no Jobs, no Hope and no Cash.

They didn't know about the exploit ... so they didn't use it.

There is a bug in 25 man Spine of Deathwing only, making the encounter considerably easier. Blizz say they will fix it 'soon™', probs right after one of the US guilds kill it.

    COINCEDENCE?!

My biggest arguement with this is the comment "Blizzard also ignore bug reports on live (Confirmed by Ensidias members taking screenshots of the tickets". So they knew it was a bug and an exploit, and they did it anyways. Sounds like to me they did it to themselves

  17. #57
They exploited. They got banned. Who cares about anything else?

    They're just guilds.

Blizzard inviting two US teams to an event in the US? hit the nail on the head there mate, 100% conspiracy, because a European event would without doubt bring over two teams from the US to do a head-to-head raid over teams from the EU because it's easier shipping 50 people in from the states, right?

At the end of the day the people talking shit about WOW are the ones playing it, how long have Ensidia talked shit and broke the rules? years, are they still playing WOW? yes, do Blizzard then give a fuck? no, so why should we, I have a note to Ensidia or any other guild full of 13 year old virgins, if WOW is shit then quite frankly, get the fuck out.
