    Heroic Morchok 10 help

Hiya, tonight we were doing H Morchok and our best we got him to was 10% from a kill but we all feel like we are doing something wrong since weve heard that guilds 2 heal the fight but we had to 4 heal it using a resto druid holy pally holy priest and smite disc, and it seems like there was way to much damage going out.

heres a link to our wol any help would be very appreciated.

    thank you

Just four heal it. The DPS requirement doesn't exist.

4 Heal is fine. Just make sure tanks bring the copy they're tanking close to the crystal. Each side has a pattern as to how bosses rotate stomp and crystals.
The clone's side casting sequence seems to be something like Stomp->Stomp->Crystal- then crystal+stomp (about 2-3 seconds apart) then blood of the earth.
If you can kill Deathwing you could easily finish H Morchok. My main spec is a feral tank and OS is moonkin but had to heal because no one else any sort of healing gear. Healed the clone's side with basically all moonkin gear.

Guilds that 2heal it probably have and average ilvl >= 390, or very close to it.
If you play the strategy right, with 4 dps doing 20k+ (+2 tanks, +4 healers), it's doable.

In regard to "too much damage", you have to make sure that:
    - nobody in the raid takes the stomp from both bosses (so you split in 2 groups of 5 and keep the distance)
    - the 2 people soaking the duplicated stomp damage in each group should be a tank and a high armor (or other kind of phisical mitigation) character.
    - the stomp should be soaked by all 5 members of each group, so the tank has to move the boss close to the crystal if the crystal is too far, so that the 3 crystal soakers also stay in range for stomp soaking.

I guess it's all about... soaking.

We all have around an iLevel of 390, but the fight was an absolute joke. What we did was treat it like 2 separate five man encounters. We DPS'd to 90 percent and let the bosses split. We had assigned groups as follows:

    1 Warrior Tank
    1 Feral Druid
    2 Healers
    1 Hunter

    1 Death Knight Tank
    1 Rogue
    1 Healer
    2 Ranged DPS

I was the single healing side and what we did was had the rogue stack up and feint with the Death Knight on all stomps to help lower healing needed on our side, as we heard that worked. Our rogue's timers were off causing extra damage, so we ended up just having our melee run out when the stomp was incoming, lowering their damage considerably, but that was never really an issue. We made sure we had the 2 healers and hunter on one side because each split of the boss's crystal targets 3 ranged, and those were the three on that side. Myself (single healer) and the two ranged on our side soaked the other boss' crystal. Everyone but the tanks made sure they were at at least twenty five yard range when stomps went out to take away all that damage, and tanks just rotated CDs as well as healing CDs going out. It was pretty easy to heal with the Death Knight helping out, and the 2 healers on the other side made it a complete nonissue healing. The only thing I could foresee causing issue is people being too close to either boss and soaking stomp damage then a crystal.

As I said, we treated it like a five man. As long as one five man did it's job, the other would be fine. If one screwed up, they would lose a member and the crystals would start targeting people on the opposite side causing a wipe. So the key was for nobody but tanks (and if your melee's timers are on they can help) to soak stomps, everyone else at max range. Make sure three ranged are at each side for the crystal to target. Make sure healers and tanks are coordinating cooldowns.

We breezed through it in five attempts. The most difficult part of the fight is the first crystal, as it's in the middle and doesn't let people get situated and could target some healers. After that, just make sure everyone keeps range. During the black blood phase we tried to all get behind rock clusters to heal up and regen while we waited. Save hero for 20 percent to help overcome enrage damage. It was incredibly easy. Easier than any heroic this encounter. Took us five attempts with no PTR work. Just can't lose anyone or it goes crazy.

    Goodluck.

    4 heals
    2 tanks
    4 dps

May take a little longer, but it was our first kill and it was pretty easy.
