Looking for a new Keyboard.

Hey guys. Currently looking for a new keyboard. At this point I've only really taken a look at Logitech's site and seen the G19 which looks pretty damn cool. Looking for something that looks nice, has back lighting, has some features like media controls and such. As well as being stable and having longevity, I think that's about it.

All suggestions are very much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Same boat, man, haha. I'm still using this 2001 HP keyboard that came with a desktop I got for Christmas back then. I like its media keys, but it was before the time of backlit keys, so I've been wanting a new one for a while.

I've had a series 1 G15 for over 3 years, it's been a great keyboard, and logitech has always had awesome customer service. I was considering the G19 myself, but then I saw the new starwars keyboard and decided to wait for that to come out and take a look at it. Some of the different features it has looks real dope, like 10 keys that change their icons based on what macros you got assigned to them. Those plus the touch screen panel made me want it so bad, until they released the price at 250. Don't know that I can justify paying that much, especially without having used it to make sure it feels good.

Found this, pretty much a basic keyboard with some of the familiar features and it looks great and is sturdy. Really cheap as well.

Here's a free bump.

The SideWinder X4 is usually very good for its price in most countries (I don't know the relative terms in every country and currency, sorry ), and has pretty good value. It's a rubber-dome keyboard and you can't expect the best of the best for its price.
But it's my general opinion that it's more often underpriced for what you get compared to competitors. (Or, all the rest of them are overpriced? )

Looking nice is relative, I'd rather get performance but that's just me. Do you have a price range? If you're more of a gamer than a general useage pc user than a mechanical keyboard is the way to go. Something like the Razer Blackwidow which uses Blue cherry switches, there is an ultimate version if you want more bling with your buck. I satrongly dislike Razer they're horrific for shipping products that are faulty but out of all the current mechanical keyboards this is probably one of the best in terms of aesthetics and performance.

For a few more pennies you can also try the Corsair VengeanceKeyboard, The G keys and F keys are none mechanical but all the important keys are. It looks fantastic and comes with an erray of macroable keys.

Then on pure performance minus all blind you have something like the SteelSeries 7G, you lose all the blind but for performance and comfort you won't get better.

The g15 is pretty much everything you described, while also not being outrageously expensive like the g19.
