[Books\Other] Visual Novel Thread

I'm not sure how big the visual novel audience around here is, but thought I'd create a thread to see anyways. I came here to ask about those of you who have played some about your opinions on them, or recommend some. I'm currently working on Saya no Uta "Song of Saya" (See avatar for female protagonist), and i've enjoyed it a lot so far even though I'm only half way through it. What are some other novels you'd recommend to try.

well one of the most commonly known ones is the Fate/ Series by Type Moon.

They are basically books with still framed graphical images. They usually have choices in certain locations of the story that change the story.
