Now what is it you want....

Upgrade or New Computer: Upgrade GPU

Upgrade on what (you hope): GPU

Willing to Self Build or a Pre-Built: Self

How much you want to spend: Around 175

How much you can spend: 250

What all you plan to use it for: WoW, Skyrim, Vegas Pro 11, DCUO

What Operating system you want to use & Bit: I use Win 7 64 Bit

What Resolution you hope to be in: 1786 x 1004

What Settings do you Want & how much FPS: In a 25m raid in WoW with lots of aoe about 50 fps Min

What Country are you from: USA

What can you re-use: Prefer to just change ONLY the GPU

Network will be wired or wireless: Wireless

    Any Additional Info Here:
I use Fraps and usually have Firefox up as well at the same time, want something I can count on for the next few years. When I first got my computer with the card I have now I was getting about 60 fps, but now I am getting about 20-35 fps.
I am not sure if it is the GPU, or the CPU + Mobo or a lil of both....

However I thought the easiest way to see an upgrade would be through the GPU, however if I am wrong then please let me know otherwise. I am not sure if it is smart to upgrade the gpu first or the cpu + mobo. But over all I can not spend more then 250, and I would rather spend 175. So I think it is the GPU....
Also can anyone let me know a good mobo that can fit in my case with a good proc? For Future reference, I was hopin to get the i5 2500k.
But mainly let's stick to what can do me the most good for my money, which ever it might be.

    XFX Radeon HD 6870 1GB

That would probably be your best bet.

Edit: Here's a comparison link for what the difference will be.

Ideally if you can hit that $250 area then the Sapphire 6950 2gb is the best option around. Considering it still comes w/ dual bios and the ability to flash to 6970 bios w/ 1536 shaders unlocked. Basically $250 card that has the power of a $350 card.

    @Milkshake86,

Last I checked, they fixed the flashing to 6970 thing ages back...

@OP, raze664 suggested a stellar card for the price, or if you can go higher you could look at a 6950 or 560 Ti. Any will be a fine upgrade from a GTS450....
