    Jackass Rabbit was a ripoff in alot of aspects and I wouldn´t call it the "best" dos game - its a good game granted, but not in the "best" category (bla bla bla obviously down to the individual and so on).

    Not going into what I´d say is "the best" since there are way too many contenders for that title

    Ranked by countlessness of hours played / skipping school because of playing:

    Doom - had to lock my COM port to 9600, was unstable at higher DTE rates with my then 14.4k GVC (no, not even JVC!) modem

    Dune 2 - Amazing music

    Wing Commander II - first game with AdLib, left the title music on for quite a while before actually playing

    Ultima Underworld - Actual sense of adventuring... Map where you could leave notes on... oh yeah what happened to that?

    Oh man... I remember getting the Doom Hacker's Guide and changing my weapons so that they had unlimited ammo and fired as fast as the chain gun. Imagine how surprising it is when you're playing deathmatch and your opponent comes around the corner shooting 5-7 BFG blasts per second.

    (of course, I only ever played against one other person, and he thought it was pretty funny)
