No IDE slots on my motherboard

Hey. My new mobo, GPU, and CPU are coming tomorrow and I just now realized that the mobo has no IDE slots. Both of my HDDs are IDE as well as my cd drive. I've heard of PCI IDE adapters, however no clear results were on google.

what should I do? I don't have enough money to dump on sata drives/dvd.

Shops also selling IDE to SATA converters, ask for a price but IDE is slower than SATA.
    Something like this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/pata-to-sata-converter-222116
Or try finf PCI-E card with IDE ports.

    Let me see. Hang on.

    Edit: Cheapest: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...N82E1681218605
And you need connect it to DVD and HDD. Layout looks like it fits right on. Black is IDE connector and white is so called Molex power connector.
On other side are SATA and power connector for modern motherboards.
Searching Ide to SATA give me a lot on Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...sata&x=26&y=14

First link, go for it. Ignore OS support, converter has nothing to do with OS, it is just signal transfer from one way to other way.

the first link says it's deactivated.

If I were you I'd get 1 adapter for your HDD and save up for a new HDD.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136769 is what I'm planning on getting and it's a good price.

CD-rom/DvD are pretty cheap could get a nice one for under $30

Or just hold off use what you got now that your currently using till you get the rest of what you need to finish your PC.

Why would you buy all new stuff then bottleneck it with some crappy old IDE drives?

because I'm completely out of money and can't afford an SATA dvd let alone an SATA drive.

edit: fixed, I can't afford SATA.

First buy 3 converters I linked, attach each to your HDD's and DVD, connect SATA and power to other side from motherboard.
You can upgrade HDD's any time you can and later you could use old HDD's as extra storage. DVD with converter would be fine for: watching DVD's, listening musics, installing programs. No need buy new one, unless it dies.

    Nearly lied to you.

1 needed. This one is for DVD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812186054

2 needed. And this one is for HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812226024

My apology, been using laptops for years and for a moment forgot connector placements.

Edit: Damn it, not sure. Before ordering, if you please call and ask difference between those 2.
Checked Wiki, should be as I wrote but just in case, ask before buying.
