Increasingly Bad FPS

When I first start the game up, I get around 30+ fps, and can reach up to 60.

After a couple of minutes however, it always goes down to 10 and it horrible to play. It never goes back up. Anyone know why?

Well known issue I guess. On WoW I have 40+ fps in 25 man raids with med settings, on SWTOR low settings I have around 10 fps.

Someone in my guild had the same problem until he disable the shadow. Now he has no problem at all.

Did you try it with the shadows on low or off? As Apany pointed out, this seems to help people; especially people with ati cards.

I've had shadows off since this first started happening, it has done little to nothing.

make sure it's OFF, not set to low. I don't mean to sound insulting, because I made that mistake when just starting, somehow didn't see that you could turn it off entirely, so it was jus set to low and lagging me to hell.
