That long list (and also the even longer list from EJ) surprisingly doesn't list Electrowing dagger for OH.
403 Nokaled + 410 EW is the 'BIS' until the legendary pair for combat.
No'Kaled + Dreamer is also a good combination if you can't get EW to drop
This sounds like the non-heroic list.
In heroic modes, I am finding Heroic Will from Heroic Ultraxion is better damage than the 403 No'Kaled on my rogue. (Angosia@Arathor if you're curious). I'm using the stage 2 offhand with that mace. Simcraft and Shadowcraft agree with my in-game observations on this:
LFR Axe + Stage 1 offhand < Stage 1 daggers < 10N axe + stage 1 offhand < stage 2 daggers < 10N axe + stage 2 offhand < 10H mace + stage 2 offhand < 10H axe + stage 2 offhand < Legendaries
Mind you, there's a larger combination due to the EW dagger offhand. But, at the moment, Shadowcraft and Simcraft are saying that my stage 2 is in second place for offhands - with the legendary offhand being #1.
Could it be better to run with T2 daggers for Madness (Normal mode at least) over No'Kaled? I've seen on WoL combat rogues on Heroic Madness running with No'Kaled and T12 2pc because of spellweaving (I also asked on EJ and got that answer).
I'm pretty confused since the dagger is a 1.8, that should proc spellweaving way more, doesn't it? (plus the benefit from the stacking buff)
Just wondering on peoples views on the HC Ultraxion Mace vs Normal No-Kaled?
Im guessing because of the secondary stats the HC Mace if better for Blade Flurry, but what about single tar dps.
cheers.
I have the T1 daggers and RF version of No'Kaled;
I find I'm able to do more damage using the Axe + T1 OH!
For my rogues gear level (389 equipped ilvl) the results i'm getting are as predicted by simcraft.
(RF No'Kaled + Vengence) is around 1.3% or 450 dps ahead of (Fear + Vengence)
No'Kaled + Dreamer is unfortunately better than Sleeper+Dreamer for combat spec.
Would the H ultrax mace be better than the normal 403 axe with either t2 offhand or H EW?
A lot of the results you're going to get are going to vary with gear levels and individual stats when we're talking sub-100 changes, or value by fight (daggers > axe for cleave, for example), but Shadowcraft should be fully up to date for modeling the axe and make all of these calculations directly possible for your character. This thread's been largely unnecessary since the update some time ago.
I am noobish but I was under the influence that daggers weren't great for combat rogues, sooo what is the truth? like what is the best wep situation for a combat rogue for example, 1h axe/mace in both hands, or daggers in both hands, or axe/mace in MH with dagger in OH? I'm pretty confused =(
combat rogue will ALWAYS use a sword/mace/axe/fist weapon in MH, and a fast dagger in OH. Legendary dagger set is an exception because of the bonus damage for ss and rvs in the MH, but as sims has become more precise, it has been found that still the best combo (before legendaries) is no'kaled + hagara dagger.
The PvE competition in WoW is a thing players brought in, it wasn't a feature of the game when it was released.

Sorry if its been asked a few times, but how is the offhand dagger (Vengeance I think) and Morningstar of Heroic will (Normal) as opposed to RF Nok and Veng
Outside of cleave, refer to Shadowcraft as your bible on the subject, really. There may be some* variance in the comparisons between levels of gear. No'kaled's proc is slightly devalued by higher-level gear, while the MHW isn't at all, and applies full cleave rather than not transferring the proc. For that reason, in cleave, non-No'k > No'k, but for single target, see what SC tells you.
