When do we get our companions?

Hi there, I am currently level 23 IA sniper with only 2 companions, Kilyo and the droid, I was wondering around what level/Planet do i get my 3rd, 4th, and 5th companion.

depends on how much you quest in your class, if you do alot of side quests it varies, got my 3rd at 27 cause i did alot of side quests instead of class ones...

i got my third around level 29ish, but its based on your class story progression afaik.

Some classes get them at very different times than others. Sith Warriors get a 3rd companion at the end of Balmorra, while on a Bounty Hunter I'm two planets after Balmorra and still have only 2 companions (Mako and butler). I'm on Tatooine and think I'm about to get my 3rd.

Each class is different, Jedi Knight for example gets 3 companions after coruscant.
