I come to you today to speak about spoonfeeders and why we are pushing on with 25 man raiding. At the end I will post recruitment needs and a link to our website.
Spoonfeeders was started in the middle of t12 content because we wanted to raid 25 mans again. After dropping down to 10man raiding in t11 we realised that things got boring fast with such a small playerbase. We were limited to do fun stuff outside of raids within the guild and realised the big advantage 25 man raiding guilds bring that players quickly forget about.
There is a reason why the player numbers have dropped off so much in recent times and that is because of the lack of community that was brought about with LFD. We at spoonfeeders are looking for players that miss the community that tbc once had and new players who want to be more involved in the social side of the game.
We want a guild where players are wanting to help others out to make it a place they can call there ingame home and help grow the guild to new heights.
Other advantages that 25 man raiding guilds will bring in 4.3 and beyond is alt raiding. With LFR you can queue with 25 people and having to go with more players you know will make the experience a lot more satisfying since there is accountability for ones actions.
About our raids and what we looking for.
Since we are a 6/7 heroic guild we expect to have applications with similar experience. We not looking for players who are wanting a quick boost through content to quit the game 2 weeks later to go back to there console games.
We can see your dedication in your past raid experience and the amount of times you've cleared the content.
Applications where people have just come back to the game after a 6 month and greater break will most likely be declined straight away.
We want players that are still passionate about the game and will create a positive environment within our guild.
To sum up what we are looking for is Old school players in a semi hardcore raiding environment. We also understand we need balance in life and that is why we only raid 3 times a week but at the same time we don't just want raid loggers.
1)At least 6/7 heroic FL experience if you haven't done heroics in previous content.
2)Player that plays the game more then 3 days a week is an advantage to build a stronger community.
