u forgot that retarded pvp "shuffling" where they move their characters quickly to the left and right. If they moved behind u that would make sense since you would need to move to hit them but I find nowadays everyone seems to only shuffle left and right. I've got news for u nubs, left and right is still perfectly in front of me, i can hit u
