The mail you get in game from NPC's updating you on consequences from your dark/light side quest decisions.

Like this one time I bribed people with a cure to their poisoning and then once I got the info I refused to help them (i'm a jerk) and then I got mail later on basically saying they died.

These little pieces of mail are just amazing and really keep me in the story as well as feeling the ramifications of my choices.
