Well....what a crazy fight, that had its fair share of emotional highs and lows, but its finally dead. We went from sub-30% wipes on the last tendon a week ago with a world first kill in our sights, to having the fight hot fixed and being back at square one. On our initial wipes we were using our usual raid comp, but with the changes it forced us to stack the group as much as possible, which is an unfortunate trend in raiding nowadays.

We'd also like to give a heartfelt thank you to those of you that helped us achieve the stacked raid comp, Logoz and Aantu, we couldn't have done it without you.

It seems that there is some confusion about the entire process that took place involving the 'non guild mages'. We thought it was a better choice to ask for help within the Illidan community instead of just poaching people with the intentions of only using them for 1 fight and discarding them afterwards. To each their own, but that was our reasoning behind the process.

Anyways, the tier is almost done, and we're enjoying every bit of it! Best of luck to all the guilds working on Madness.

To clarify any rumors:
Heroic Spine 25man required so much burst dmg on tendons, a stacked raid comp of arc mages/rogues was needed.
Blood Legion officers talked to Raiding Rainbow officers and asked if they could borrow 2 mages with legendary + 4pc T13 for a 1 week lockout to help kill Heroic Spine. In the interest of "server pride" as well as "US pride", we all wanted to help Blood Legion ensure a US 1st kill.
Both mages as well as RR officers agreed, so me and Aantu were contracted over, to raid with Blood Legion for 1 week. All arrangements were made with mutual consent and satisfaction from both parties

I'm not a "fanboy", I'm working on Spine as well, I just think you're a douchebag for mocking people for being excited about an achievement that very few players are capable of getting. If you were someone who had killed Spine, you would understand why they were so happy. Are you going to go watch the video of some US 500th guild killing a hard boss and make fun of their excitement as well, saying "lol Paragon did it first, losers"? It doesn't matter what rank the kill is, the fight is a complete bitch and overcoming it this early in the content cycle before it is inevitably nerfed isn't easy.

The fight is hard and freaking tight as hell so yes we screamed out like crazy after we killed it. But the thing is the other guilds never brag and show off that they are so good and will get the world first like BL did. Those nerdscreams just surprised me because they came from the guild who claimed to be world no.1 guild and failed and got 7th kill instead and yet they still screaming out like they got a world first. That's all .
