So I'm having an issue playing Star Wars where i constantly bounce up to 50k MS or I disconnect. I opened up my D-Link router ip to setup some ports. While doing so i see an option for TCP and UDP ports and i have no clue what im suppose to use.

TCP requires a handshake (acknowledgement) UDP does not. UDP would be for things like voice (VOIP) or video. Without looking I'd have to imagine that a game would be TCP based.
