Possibly upgrading video cards, need help.

I currently have Crossfire HD4890's, will I get a performance increase if I upgrade to one HD6950? Thanks.

Aren't 4890 dual-GPU cards? o.o

Since I wasn't interested in this stuff back then, I wouldn't know if the HD 4870 and HD 4890 are actually different cards. However, at least the HD 6950 damn well nearly hits twice the yield of a single HD 4870 according to this lil' benchmark.
