Cooler Master Hyper 212 +

Hey guys, I'm probably going to order a Cooler Master Hyper 212 +. There is 1 thing that worries me though, I dont know if it fits on my motherboard (gigabyte 970A-UD3, as you can see on this picture http://i.imgur.com/ubS2x.jpg there is a black thing that Im afraid the cooler will hit.
And another thing, would a Scythe 120mm Gentle Typhoon, 1450rpm do good on that cooler?

I really need to get rid of my Phenom 965 stock cooler, it sounds like a jet and I bet it's colder in hell!

It should fit no problem. I used the 212+ in my new build recently with a very similar Gigabyte board and I had no issues with the fit.

And it doesnt matter if it's a 3pin fan aye? Since there is 4 pins on the MoBo
