If I had a video camera, and Knew how video files worked, and a camera crew to follow me around, and knew how to upload videos to youtube, I'd link a video to me going on an all out rampage on the ants that infested my bedroom last summer.
My ants are smart, they only come out during night time.
They once came out during the day time. Once.
I left pie out on my bed, and when i returned, there were like 20-40 ants on my walls.
Got my lighter, torched 2-5 and the rest ran off.

I kill all the bugs I see in my house. I usually leave spiders alone, unless they crawl on my bed or something. They tend to keep out of sight quite well, and they hunt other bugs, which is good.
Generally speaking, when they get into one part of your home, they'll be everywhere soon. I've seen ants get into some pretty disgusting places, such as underwear, beds, shower drains, sinks. They're nasty buggers who will get into ANYTHING given they even detect a hint of something they want.
Burn them with fire and poison I say.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
Bugs do not come into my house, they know I dual-wield cans of raid.
I kill Ants on site, spiders however are always welcome seeing as how they kill the more annoying insects.
I love ants, I find them fascinating.
But when they come into my territory, I kill them without mercy. Maybe even let them suffer a bit.
I know that I'm cruel.
