MWF3 leveling

at lvl 17ish i think, been using the ump45 (2nd submachine gun) and feel like sometimes ppl kill me faster then i kill them even after i get the first hits, i might just be missing lol, question is, is there a better weapon i should be using while leveling, liek another i should get and lvl ?

Im a fan of the SCAR for leveling, not really a big fan of MWF3 though >_<

OT: PP90 is a really good submachine gun when you unlock it, love it so far. But then again I've mostly only used assault rifles, and the ones I can recommend from the head is M4A1, SCAR and ACR in the beginning until you unlock AK-47 and then FAD.

Can't suggest a better weapon as it comes down to preference really, but someone else might be better informed on advantages. I prefer assault rifles for the medium range, I stick to SCAR or AK47.

Being killed whilst seeming to get the first shots in (all on target) is probably some stupid ping/lag thing, I have the same. I win 10% of 1on1s because despite firing (on target) at an enemy as soon as they come sprinting round a corner, on the killcam it shows them killing me whilst facing the other way- as I was 5 seconds previously lol :|

PP90M1 is the best all around SMG. REALLY good hip spray. So good, you don't need steady aim... and frankly, you really don't need to ADS unless the guy is more than 30 yards away. Couple that with rapid fire and a silencer and it's almost cheating.

Sounds like you're experiencing a little bit of lag comp. Don't worry, it happens to most of us. If it gets so bad you're losing before you even pull the trigger, there's no shame in leaving and finding a better lobby.

For ARs, I prefer the SCAR and ACR, but you won't unlock the ACR for a bit yet. The SCAR has the best iron sights in the game IMO.

Use Stalker. Get used to strafing while shooting. ??? Profit.

A few general tips for levelling regardless of what game type you play:

Do your challenges (weapon attachments). Levels your gun faster and gives you good XP. Level your secondary weapons! Firstly, the machine pistols in general are OP, but also it's good XP.

Run low count kill streaks only. 3,4,5 for assault, or even ONLY UAV/CUAV for support. Yes, you miss out on an OP killstreak further down the list, but you're getting more KSs called in... which means more XP.

When you can start running the specialist package, DO IT! Do it for the majority of your matches. The points you start raking in is amazing, and once you get your specialist bonus (8KS, 7 with Hardline), you're a GOD. Sure, you miss out on that nice air support, but your levelling (and your game) will benefit from it in more ways than you know.

Try not to camp. There's nothing wrong with holding down an area when the enemy is trying to funnel through, but staying in one place for too long isn't optimal gameplay. You'll get more kills by taking the fight to the enemy (just don't be a blind idiot running into them). And your gameplay will only get better by testing yourself.

The single best thing you can do for fast levelling, and having fun in general? Ignore your K/D. It means nothing. Nobody really cares.
