looking for advice on a cheap build

Budget: 500ish not including a hard drive
    Resolution: 1680x1050
Games / Settings Desired: swtor and wow, medium to high settings
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc)? nope!
    Country: usa
Parts that can be reused: just a hard drive

sadly i don't have much money to spend on this, but i think something decent can be put together for this amount! hoping to get some recommendations on cpu/motherboard that i will not be overclocking, and a decent video card in this price range. thanks in advance if anyone has some suggestions.

As much as the above poster may be trying to help, that's far from an optimal build with your budget. The following will net you almost double the performance.

    NZXT GAMMA $40
    BIOSTAR H61MGC $55
    Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB $38
    Intel Core i3-2120 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz $120
    OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W $65
    MSI N550GTX-Ti-M2D1GD5/OC GeForce GTX 550 Ti $130
    LITE-ON DVD Burner $17

$465 before shipping, leaving you with 35 bucks to spend on shipping, fans, card reader, better case, etc.
